We’re pleased to announce that PricePlow is now incorporating the new Amazon Coupons into our supplement coupon system.
This makes for even lower prices on the PricePlow price comparison system, since the coupons prices are rolled into our final product prices.
How the Amazon Coupons work
Amazon recently added these coupons as a feature in early 2014, but they didn’t start appearing in our supplements and Health and Fitness, until later in the year.
When you see a coupon, as shown in the image below, you must click Clip Coupon before adding it to the cart!
How PricePlow’s coupons work
PricePlow is a price comparison / deals site for supplements and health products.
As discussed in the post linked at the top, when the PricePlow system has a coupon, it calculates it into the final product price. So in the case of the image above (Balance Bar Gold Crunch), the final price is $14.99.
You know a coupon is available when you see a yellow tag in the go-to-store button, like the image up to the right.
But it’s not always the best deal!
Now here’s the funny part: at the time of writing, $14.99 isn’t the best deal on that product!
This is why you should shop using PricePlow to look at the overall prices – not just dig around for coupons. Just because there’s a coupon doesn’t make it a great deal – stop shopping backwards!
Regardless, these coupons are now calculated into our prices, and oftentimes they will create new price drops. Readers who are monitoring any brands/categories/products will get notified when the price drops, be it from a sale or from a new coupon.
Will this work with Amazon Prime?
As an FYI, you can see that we have Amazon Prime in our screenshot above. This will work with or without it, and get us free two-day shipping.
Had we not had Amazon Prime, you could only get free shipping if spending over $35 total in your cart, and it would be slower shipping.
