Yesterday, Kai Greene posted a now-deleted video titled Inner Thoughts.
Warning: The following links point to discussion forums that may be completely false. These are nothing more than rumors right now.
Here is what we have so far:
Still never signed as of Sept 10
This seems to have been building for a while:
According to Bob Cicherillo in his Muscular Development forum thread, as of September 10, 2015:
Simple answer is, as of late last night….he hasnt signed the contract to compete. — “chick” (Bob Chicherillo), September 10, 2015
Dynamik Muscle Controversy?
In another thread on the MD Forums, Navy_Mike posted the following rumors:
This is what I heard, not sure if it was true but would explain everything and would go back to PJ say there is stuff “behind the scenes” “Kai had big plans to launch Dynamik in conjunction with the Olympia. His agent demanded a free title sponsorship, a 20×20 booth space and no union load-in fees. Olympia reps countered by demanding that he fork over sponsorship money like everyone else. They had a Mexican standoff. No one budged. Can’t think of a worse way to launch a supplement line than being left outside the arena at the biggest bodybuilding show of the year especially after dieting and gearing up for months. AMI now set to completely pull the plug on him and pressuring the other mags to do the same to sabotage his line and push him over the edge.” –Navy_Mike, September 11, 2015
You can see the references to follow those threads, but they’re getting quite lengthy. Chick has some very informative posts.
What is Dynamik Muscle?
The timing of the launch definitely seems to coincide with Mr. O.
Potentially harmful ingredient inside? Read about betel nut…
On top of Kai’s news, today we also published a serious problem we’re finding with this supplement line, and it could possibly have been one more reason for the Olympia’s decision to keep them out of their tradeshow and competition.
In short, one of the ingredients in their fat burner (Eviscerate) and the Kai Greene pre workout supplement (Savage Roar) is potentially very unsafe.
For more info on that, read our article titled Betel Nut / Arecoline: Cancer-Causing Supplement Ingredient?
It’s best you do your research above before using it.
Point being, by looking at these labels, you can tell that Kai Greene’s business team is aggressive – at the very least, on the ingredient front. So the other rumors of “aggressive behavior” don’t exactly sound unfounded, but are still just rumors.

Our Mr. Olympia Contest Updates
For now, we’re not going to remove Kai from our Mr. Olympia Contest with Muscle Elements (join all seven contests for a chance to win a free Muscle Elements supplement), but it is now a risk if you pick him in our contest.
Marc Lobliner’s Take
Marc Lobliner’s take is interesting and reasonable, and seems to align with our thoughts regarding the “aggressiveness” of Kai’s team.
The story will continue to develop here… but until then, it’s time for us to get our research out on these Dynamik Muscle Ingredients.
The “official” Olympia Response
Flex Online has a great interview with Olympia promoter Robin Chang.
The decision has always been Kai’s. If he REALLY wanted to compete, all he had to do was sign the contract and send it back to us, like he has done the past 6 years. The last time I spoke to Kai was with his manager about a month ago when they inquired about a booth at the Olympia. — Robin Chang, Olympia Promoter
I’ve personally reached out to Kai numerous times, like I do with all qualified competitors, to remind them of the due date. I even reached out to his manager, his girlfriend and his supplement sponsor (at the time) to make sure he was aware of the deadline. –Robin Chang, Olympia Promoter
